This full day conference will host speakers from all government entities that play a part in the 36% in federal tax revenue, which clocks in at $1.295 trillion nationwide. Our statewide conference gives you the chance to be heard and hear from those that utilize these funds on a daily basis. Opening our day is the Mississippi State Auditor, Shad White. Responsible for ensuring our state funds are correctly appropriated is a major undertaking. The State has an entire fraud team from whom will speak as well. Earline Stennis is traveling from New Orleans to represent the Internal Revenue Service hitting on topics like the brand new W4 and Identity Theft. Not only will the IRS be present, but also the Mississippi Department of Revenue will speak on withholding and W2s. With all the forthcoming changes, hear from the Tax Payer Advocacy to learn how to support employees in your field. Rounding out our tax related speakers is Social Security, which will focus on Ticket to Work and SSA Work Incentives.
