It has been a year since we have been able to meet in person due to the onset of COVID-19. After careful consideration by the board, as well as feedback from our members, we are happy to announce that we have decided to meet in person for our upcoming meeting in May!
May's meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Jackie Dole Community Center in Hattiesburg, located at:
220 W Front St.
Hattiesburg, MS 39401
Our guest speaker will be Chase Bozeman, Special Agent with the United States Department of Labor Office of Inspector General. Chase will be presenting an overview of DOL programs and discussing the rise of Unemployment Insurance fraud.
Networking will begin at 11:15 AM, with the meeting beginning at 11:45 AM.
Lunch will be catered by Firehouse Subs at a cost of $10.00 per person

The health and safety of our members/volunteers is our top priority, and we want everyone to understand the steps we are taking to help ensure, as best as possible, your health and safety. Our meeting space, including any equipment that will be used, will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to and upon the conclusion of our meeting. There will also be hand sanitizer available as your enter Jackie Dole, as well as in our meeting space. We also ask that those who plan to attend abide by the following CDC guidelines to protect your health and those around you:
- Maintain at least six (6) feet distance between you and other people
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub
- Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose when in public settings/around others
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Follow all recommendations provided by the CDC
Non-Members pay a $6.00 meeting registration fee per meeting in addition to the cost of lunch. This fee is waived for fist time guests and those who have joined the local chapter.
